ABOUT Louise Muhling
Senior Associate
Louise attended Notre Dame University and obtained her Bachelor of Laws on 2009. She obtained her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice in 2010 and was admitted to practice in Western Australia in 2010.
Louise has worked exclusively in Family Law since her admission to practice. She also has experience in Family Violence Restraining Order matters.
Louise has extensive experience in dealing with both property and parenting related proceedings in the Family Court of Western Australia and in the Family Court of Australia, including relocation and Hague Convention matters, adoptions and a range of cases with high value asset pools.
Louise regularly appears as Counsel, or as the solicitor instructing Senior Counsel and Counsel, in proceedings before the Family Court of Western Australia.
Louise is a member of the Family Law Practitioners Association of Western Australia.
Louise prepared and presented a paper on Violence Restraining Orders to 100 delegates at the Western Australian Family Conference in June 2016. She also co-presented a research and summary paper on surrogacy and adoption in the Family Court of Western Australia to 25 delegates at a private conference in Perth 2017.
Louise accepts instructions in relation to all aspects of Family Law including:-

- Relocation matters, including international relocation and matters covered by the Hague Convention;
